The University of Hawai‘i Journalism Program welcomed six Chinese journalists as 2012–13 Parvin Fellows at a multi–course Chinese dinner at Maple Garden restaurant on August 7, 2012. Coordinated by Professor Gerald Kato, the Parvin Fellowship Program builds international understanding through journalism training, advanced studies, community activities and more.
