Although some may feel that high-tech production equipment makes the Media Lab an outstanding facility, it begins first with people. These people are dedicated to working with and helping students apply their theoretical knowledge, research the latest technologies, and plan for the future.

Don Kozono, Media Lab Director

Don Kozono has more than 30 years of experience in video production and broadcast news as an executive producer, TV show producer, story segment producer, Chief news cameraman, video editor, video cameraman, film cameraman, audio technician, and grip.

He has had an illustrious career traveling the globe for stories and shows. National credits include: CBS NEWS, America’s Most Wanted, Inside Edition, Miss USA, Hawaiian Open, Kapalua Golf Tournament, Golf Hawaii, Secrets Revealed. Local show credits include: KGMB news, Hawaiian Moving Company, Hawaii Stars, Mayor’s Report, City News, Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve.  Special documentaries include:  Daring to Dream / Hokulea’s Quest, Hawaii’s Humpback Whales, Raging Sea (Tsunami Special Report), Aloha Comrades.
