Front Desk

As you enter the Media Lab, the Front Desk is your first stop. It is where all scheduling of reservations for the the use of Media Lab facilities, and equipment check-in/check-out takes place, in addition to a host of other administrative activities.

Should you have questions about any of the Access Policies & Procedures or are having any other difficulties, the Media Lab Staff member at the Front Desk will try to help you as best as possible.

For your convienence, the Media Lab also has a pre-copyright-released CD music collection (Fresh Music Library and Narrator Tracks) and the BBC Sound Effects Library for use within the facility on your productions.

Also available for Communication majors is a library of trade magazines that may be borrowed. Keep up with industry trends through:
