Situated in the School of Communications at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, the Media Lab is a comprehensive media training facility dedicated to helping Communication and Journalism majors apply theoretical knowledge through practical hands-on experiences.

The Media Lab's Mission…

• Provides the tools necessary, including facilities and equipment, to apply theoretical teachings in a practical environment with emphasis on the disciplines of Journalism and Communication.
• Supports students in transforming latent ideas into professional production programming while integrating community resources, industry leaders and potential future students in the application of critical thinking skills and communicative values.
