The School of Communications maintains a broadcast Media Lab in Studio B of the Public Broadcasting System Hawaii (KHET) building at University Avenue and Dole Street near the gateway to the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus. The lab includes a fully-equipped television studio, video camera equipment and editing bays for use by students learning and applying broadcast journalism skills.
The School of Communications facilities include a library/reading room and seinar/meeting facilities on the third floor of Crawford Hall. The library contains books and periodicals on journalism and related subjects, as well as local and mainland newspapers.
